When is the relay used?
Only when the two browsers cannot open a direct connection — symmetric NATs on corporate or mobile networks, for example. BeamUp always tries direct first and shows which path was used.
Does the relay store my files?
No. It forwards encrypted bytes between the two devices as they arrive and keeps nothing.
Can I cancel?
Any time from your dashboard. Monthly plans end with the paid month, yearly plans with the year.
